⚠️ PHP 8 introduced [attributes](https://www.php.net/manual/en/language.attributes.overview.php), which are a native replacement for annotations. As such, this library is considered feature complete, and should receive exclusively bugfixes and security fixes. We do not recommend using this library in new projects and encourage authors of downstream libraries to offer support for attributes as an alternative to Doctrine Annotations. Have a look at [our blog](https://www.doctrine-project.org/2022/11/04/annotations-to-attributes.html) to learn more. # Doctrine Annotations [![Build Status](https://github.com/doctrine/annotations/workflows/Continuous%20Integration/badge.svg?label=build)](https://github.com/doctrine/persistence/actions) [![Dependency Status](https://www.versioneye.com/package/php--doctrine--annotations/badge.png)](https://www.versioneye.com/package/php--doctrine--annotations) [![Reference Status](https://www.versioneye.com/php/doctrine:annotations/reference_badge.svg)](https://www.versioneye.com/php/doctrine:annotations/references) [![Total Downloads](https://poser.pugx.org/doctrine/annotations/downloads.png)](https://packagist.org/packages/doctrine/annotations) [![Latest Stable Version](https://img.shields.io/packagist/v/doctrine/annotations.svg?label=stable)](https://packagist.org/packages/doctrine/annotations) Docblock Annotations Parser library (extracted from [Doctrine Common](https://github.com/doctrine/common)). ## Documentation See the [doctrine-project website](https://www.doctrine-project.org/projects/doctrine-annotations/en/stable/index.html). ## Contributing When making a pull request, make sure your changes follow the [Coding Standard Guidelines](https://www.doctrine-project.org/projects/doctrine-coding-standard/en/current/reference/index.html#introduction).
